particularly care for personalized licence plates I wanted to see what this
group can come up with. If I find a good one , I may just do it.

What I have come up with so far is .....

Anybody else have any suggestions ??? Let's hear 'em

Send your wife out to the antique shops and have her find you an original 1954
license plate for your delivery truck.  You can't drive around with it on, but
it looks cool on the wall of the garage or on your truck if you take it to
shows.  You can work on your truck while she's out searchin'.  ;-)

If you move to Minnesota you could drive around with it on.  We can use
original year plates for classic autos.

Michigan has a similar law.  You can register an "authentic" plate for
your historic vehicle.  There are some vaguely written laws about how
much and when you can drive a car with a Historic plate, but they are
rarely enforced.  They just want to make sure you're not using it for
your sole transportation.

I took this a step further and made myself a "personalized" historic
plate.  Michigan plates in the 40's and 50's used three pairs of digits,
so I bought several old rusty plates at swap meets and cut/welded/filled
my self a 1947 Michigan plate that is license # 47-CJ-2A.  It came out
great and I can't wait 'til the jeep is finished so I can use it!

holder that was cool, it was written upside down and said "If you can
read this - please turn me over". Dirt Man
