Carter carb rebuilder

 

Greetings All from frozen Vermont!? (High rtoday of -2 and wimd chills -35)
?
Does anyone know of a reputable rebuilder of Carter carbs?? I would like to get rid of the Solex and put the original Carter back on.

Adding to Richard's message, Mike's has kits for the variations? in the Carter YF,? good quality.? They also have videos walking through the rebuilt/ repair process.? In? my case, via email? he helped troubleshoot problems.? Which are/were-vacuum leaks in wrong places, like the top piece- the potmetal piece- of the carb.? The other problem- also vacuum- is the main shaft- either excessive shaft wear or the holes/bore is worn.?
