Argentina to Alaska trip

Gang, I stumbled across a couple from Argentina who are driving to Alaska in a late 50s Willys wagon... L6-226 engine, 2wd It crosed my mind that when they cross through the US, we could be a support network till they make it to Canada. I'll post the links so you can see who they are. The reason I spotted them was Willys in their pics.

Now those of you who know Spanish could ask them about the route they plan to take through the US.

Unless they speak english or a tiny bit of german i don't know how much help i can be.

I thinkn their biggest obstacle before reaching the US is the fact that there is no road that connects Columbia and Panama through the area known as The Darien Gap.

That being said I¡¯d gladly join a support team for them. I live in Seattle. It could be a natural fit.

Are these adventurers planning to do the trip now (February, 2021)?? I hope not because they will not receive a warm welcome in BC.? We are at about the worst point in the 2nd wave of the Corona virus pandemic these days and there will be a bit of paper work to complete before being allowed to drive north.? There are restrictions on all vehicles traveling north through BC right now and people (The Authorities) are not happy ($$$) with those that "deviate" from the exact route that might be allowed.?
I strongly suggest they wait until this time next year.? On the other hand, if their Willys were to show behaviour that slows them down, by the time they get to the Washington/BC border, the situation might have changed!

If you look through all their YouTube posts, they have had their engine out twice so far. So they seem to be doing a lot of wandering around. Near as I can tell, they are in center Mexico now. They also crossed paths with Mexican Police and survived.
