Hello all
was wondering if some one could help me out. I am still plugging away on my 60 wagon plow vehicle. It has been some what cannibalized for another willys project.ignition switch, light switch and many other things gone. But it still runs and drives. It doesn't charge any more though, but gen has been tested and is working. I would like to rewire the charging system and ignition. just have a on off switch for power to coil at this point and nothing else except push button start. new wire coming off gen to regulator. Does the red wire that run up into dash area from regulator need to be energized for things to charge? I have read much about the ballest resister. were should it be and what does it look like. were should it go in my new wiring set up?. Thanks for any help, I am about ready to give up!!
