This shouldn't be difficult. Go to the photo section and look under my
current album of M38A1. The first door photo will show the position
your hand will need to be to pull the latch release lever from the
inside. The second photo actually shows you the lever (in green) on
the latch that your fingers will be pulling. You will have to squeeze
this lever toward you (or the inside of the cab). At the same time
some push on the door to open it might help.

My passenger door has a keyed entry (missing the key mech, and the
trigger portion of the door handle) and I am unable to open it. The
manual lock inside does function and moves freely. I have taken
apart all of the door that I can from the inside and can see the
locking parts.. have sprayed them down with penetrating oil and still
no luck. looking at where the inside handle connects to the locking
part, I cant see any movement of the part that looks like a philps
screw head (where the inside door handle lever enters) Any ideas on
