FYI - Radioddity's 10M 60W QT-60 Pro Radio On Sale
开云体育With the Solar Maximum nearing its peak, the 10M Band propagation is very active during the daytime.? Now might be a good time for Technician Licensed Hams to make use of their 10M (28.300-28.500 MHz) HF SSB Frequency allocation.? Radioddity’s QT-60 Pro radio is a reasonably priced and well-functioning radio for Technician License holders to get on SSB HF on the 10M Band.? I like my original QT-60 Model and the Pro Model that has replaced it on Radioddity’s website has additional features.? And no, I have no pecuniary relationship with Radioddity; I have bought numerous radios from them with good results and excellent customer service. New Features for the QT60 Pro ? Black Friday Deal at Amazon (on sale for $207.20 ) for just the Radioddity QT-60 Pro 10M 60W Radio and a $239.99 Bundle Deal at Radioddity for the QT-60 Pro radio and more. - ? Bundle Deal directly from Radioddity that includes the QT-60 Pro Radio, 10M Telescoping Antenna, PC003 Programming Cable, a very useful stand to tilt the front of the radio up while sitting on a desk and Radioddity’s VHF and UHF Beginner’s Guide Book - ? 73, Bob – KG5SQJ |

Many of our RACES Family will remember all the contributions that Claude made to RACES, Amateur Radio, and establishment of the Weather Desk at the NWS Office.? Claude moved to San Antonio a
few years ago, but kept in touch.? Claude always had a story when you would meet him, we'll all miss those stories and remember the work Claude did.? Rest in Peace??

Claude Whitley WB5FLQ SK
Sadly I write this to inform the club and friends of Claude Whitley WB5FLQ that he has passed. Claude was a member of the Kilocycle Club from way back. He was integral in the formation of Skywarn in the DFW area and was a driving force in the Fort Worth Police
Departments Code Blue program. Claude helped influence the police department in providing radios for the Code Blue patrollers and wrote a manual on the use of the radios for the program. He constantly recruited for new amateur operators and is mainly responsible
for my venture into the hobby. Claude is survived by his Daughter and two wonderful grandchildren.?

Re: Claude Whitley WB5FLQ SK
开云体育Thanks for letting us all ?know. ? It was Claude and Harry and his wife ?Flo that got me into the Kilo Cycle club that got me climbing towers. So much fun to look down at the cars on 820 back then now I-20 as well at McCart street from their
tower. Then Claude’s tower was a few blocks to the north of them. ?
?Land changes, Hams get older and become fewer so another one I knew from along time ago has passed away but it was ?a pleasure to have known him.?
