Per the email below, the NWS Shreveport office is requesting spotter vigilance throughout the current winter weather event.??
Spotters can report ice and snow accumulations directly to the NWS in Shreveport using the instructions contained in the email.
We will not formally run a Skywarn net during this event unless the situation warrants.? However, operators are encouraged to monitor?
the TARC and ETECS repeater systems for situational awareness.
