2.? From David Chenault, W5CWT, in Rusk County: Ok, folks! The Resurrection Run is right around the corner!?If you're new, this is a great event to get started. We support the race with communications and situational awareness. Basically, we are deployed along the race route and communicate back any information they need. The most basic requirement is that you have a handheld ham or GMRS radio.?This year's event is Sat, April 12th, 7-am. I will send more information with race details, assignments, equipment needed, etc. This event is officially operated as a RCARC/ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service)? joint event but everyone is welcome to volunteer--you do NOT need to be a "member" of either group to help!

This year, volunteer sign-up is a little different.?Please use BOTH forms below to sign up.?The race is asking us to sign up with their form so they have waivers on everyone (see their email below). I will eventually get your info from them, but using my form as well will let me know sooner, so we can plan.?
