RIP Mark.
What's the status of his web site? Is someone going to maintain it? Or will it go away? If it goes, that will be a loss.

Both he and his knowledge will be greatly missed.?
 

Oh shit ! It's a huge loss...?Mark has been a very important player in?the field of DCC and all that revolves around it.?My sincere condolences to the family and friends.?It is thanks to Mark that I was able to greatly deepen my knowledge.?Indeed, Mark will be deeply missed... Thank you VERY much Mark Gurries¡­.

The DCC world has lost one of its backbone contributors. Mark and his helpful commentary will be missed by the experienced and the inexperienced alike. I don't recall when Mark started his web site or DCC career but I met him in person first on VIA's Canadian en route to the Toronto NMRA National in 2003.
