If you have – thanks! If not, you have a choice. I’m running for Director because I believe the ARRL needs to change at a faster pace, and correct some mistakes made in the past several years. The ARRL board is not focusing on the most important issues. Since leaving the ARRL board in 2018, I have become increasingly frustrated with the League’s lack of progress in creating a vibrant future for Amateur Radio. Specifically: · Not enough youth coming in · Erosion of our access to spectrum · Misalignment of license structure with today’s needs · Regulations restricting antennas · Encroachment by interference sources · Shrinking ARRL membership · Dissatisfaction with programs and QST · Governance dysfunction ARRL ballots will be counted on Friday, November 15th. As an ARRL member you should have received one postcard and several email reminders from the company ARRL hired to conduct the election. Sometimes these emails end up in a spam folder or the ARRL has an incorrect email address for you. Once registered, follow the online voting instructions. The deadline to vote is 12:00 Noon Eastern Time on Friday, November 15, 2024. It is too late to request a paper ballot.
