Problems here. The banner text seems to build. I first looked at the banner.txt and saw what I thought was a problem. Being impatient, I connected to my node. Below is the RMS Express connection to my Winmore station with my banner.txt file info below that:

apart from technical aspects, I think a banner of this size is not a good idea. It takes away a lot of connect time for the user and if I send this information it should be in consent with the user. Look at the help text in RMS Pactor regarding banner.txt. 73! Werner "Kenneth" <ae6la@...> wrote: (09/04/2011 03:35) Problems here. The banner text seems to build. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýKen and Werner especially; ? Seems I can never really get this project out of my mind ¨C last night I realized what I had done to ¡®fix¡¯ the banner generation was to make it cumulative ¨C I was trying to prohibit it from overwriting. ? I¡¯ll have it fixed shortly although having MONITOR figure out just where to put the updated statistics so it won¡¯t add cumulatively nor overwrite if not trivial. ? ³¢²¹³Ù³Ù±ð°ù¡.. ? U can always shut the banner off in the initialization file until I get an update posted¡¡. ? From: rmshfanalyzer@... [mailto:rmshfanalyzer@...] On Behalf Of Werner Furlan
