Apparently the K1MUJ Echolink connection was not available tonight for W1EDH (KC1CMT-R) to connect to it at 7:30 PM, but I checked into that net using Echolink on my phone, and I was able to connect to K1MUJ-R via Echo link from my phone at 7:45 PM. No idea why the 2 repeaters aren't connecting 73 DE WS1O

As part of this review, ARRL is conducting a thorough examination of the provisions in Part 97 and related rules that affect amateur radio operators. ARRL’s written comments, which will be prepared by our FCC Counsel and the ARRL Executive Committee, will include consideration of feedback we received from members. Members who want to share comments and concerns about this matter are urged to share your feedback directly with ARRL. Please submit your comments by March 31, 2025 and use the following feedback form: www.arrl.org/fcc-public-notice-march-2025 ARRL will submit our official filing to the FCC by the April 11 deadline. After that, there will be an opportunity for reply comments at the FCC until April 28, and then later, opportunities for public comment on any rules the FCC proposes to delete or modify. Anyone interested in embarking on a day of annoyance and frustration...or playing the role of a huge techno-hero? I can get my station to run on some bands and modes, but not others. I think it's RF issues, but maybe not... I've been struggling with getting a few things to work in my shack for the past year or so, and I'm getting tired of beating my head against the wall, so now I'm asking for help...if necessary I'll even offer some c compensation for anyone who wants to take a ride to Pomfret to help... I have an Icom IC-7300 connected to an LDG200Pro II autotuner and a 102-foot G5RV antenna, and an HP laptop running Windows, and various accessories. I'm having serious trouble getting FT8 to work right, seems like maybe there's RF in the shack that keeps knocking out the USB connection to the computer and also causes a hum in my Heil external receive audio processor and speaker. I've installed chokes and toroids all over the place, double checked my grounds, etc, and I'm stuck. If anyone might want to come by and try to help figure out what the heck is going on, you will be handsomely rewarded. Might help if you have access to an antenna analyzer and any other test gear...???? And please don't answer with suggestions here; I've given up on changing stuff myself for now, I would just like to have some friendly ham buddy come by and mess with it for me before I start throwing stuff out on the lawn!
