New IP address

 

Xfinity decided to change my ip address.? The new address is 76.120.56.101.? I have made a dns change that could take a few days to fully propagate.? w0mu.net:7373 should work soon or use 76.120.56.101:7373

Downtime

 

I need to shut the cluster down and do some maintenance. I don't expect the downtime to last more than a hour or so.

Dave,

Welcome to the cluster.

Groups.io requires approval for the 1st post to protect against spam.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of AB4IQ.

There is a groups.io group for CC Cluster Support: /g/CC-Cluster/

If you need help getting the cluster back up please email me directly or join the cc-cluster group.

This group is mainly to let people know when my cluster is going to be down or is down, so it will be very quiet.

AD1C is my watchdog, he is pretty quick to let me know when my cluster is not working.

If you do notice the cluster down or acting oddly you can email the list or me directly at w0mu@...

Do you use the CC user from VE7CC?? If so, in the settings tab there is a checkbox for own.? If you uncheck that box then hit the tell cluster button you should no longer receive your own spots.?

Or you can do it from the telnet session using the command

SET/NOOWN

Turn off skimmer spots for your own call

outage 9/30/24

 

I am in the process of changing out routers.? The cluster should be back up in within the next hour or so.

Daily restarts

 

I have added a 4am Mountain time daily restart to the cluster. 1000z

It should begin tomorrow morning.? I will keep an eye on the cluster to make sure it is actually restarting.

If you notice anything odd please shoot me an email.

Today's outage

 

Was caused by Xcel Energy cutting the power in the area.? While our area had power, the Xfinity site where our internet comes from was down.? I guess we can expect more of this.

Server currently down

 

The server shutdown last night around 0130z.? It is currently restarting and attempting repairs on the OS.? I may have to reinstall Windows and or the cluster.

I will post more when I know more.

Until it is back up you can try VE7CC or another CC cluster node.
