Sorry folks,? I am in the middle of re arranging the shack and the cluster went down.? I was hoping it would stay up but something happened.? I have no access to the server currently.? It should be back up later on Friday.

VE7CC identified some major issues with Spider nodes and they have been disabled until that issue is addressed on those spider nodes.

A new version of the Cluster software was released and has been running well now for 12 hours.

As always if you noticed the cluster down or non responsive please let me know via email or text.

We are experiencing issues with the CC Clusters again today.? I have reverted to an older version at it seems to be working for now.? Many of the other clusters are reporting max cpu issues that could slow down spots across the cluster network.

Lee VE7CC found some major duplication issues within the Cluster software.? He has released a beta version that I am running on W0MU-1 cluster.? He hopes the fix has removed the issues but it might have caused other issues.

If you notice anything off or wonky or weird with the cluster please let me know.

IP Address change

It appears that Xfinity has changed my ip address.

The new IP is 107.2.185.160? connect to port 7373

It could take a day or so before the DNS change makes it way around the internet.? Once that happens you should be able to connect to w0mu.net:7373

Windows updated last night and the cluster program failed to load.? I addressed that when I saw it and then noticed that cluster had closed again at some point.? It is started again.? It is possible that there was another windows related reboot. I am investigating why cluster failed to load on the restart.

Please let me know if you notice the cluster not receiving spots.?

Sorry to say the problem has returned.? They said they started seeing a noise on the signal this afternoon.? They hope to have it fixed by Monday.? I have a feeling they don't do line issues on the weekend unless it is an emergency.

After calling and raising as much of a stink as I could with Comcast, we might have got some resolution.

We are at the end of segment with only two customers.? Their automated systems only work on segments with 3 or more customers, so they have no clue when there is an outage on my line.?

They had to adjust a couple of amps that were providing far too much amplification which got worse as the temperatures went down.? A network tech was able to see this issue this morning so they hope that this resolves the problems.? I am not convinced at this point but hopeful.

I am still having major issues with Comcast.? They have identified a major line issue but don't seem to interested in fixing it in a timely manner.? They are supposed to be out in the morning to fix it.? I am not holding my breathe.? I am looking at alternatives.

I will update the list when I know more.?

I have updated the cluster to the latest versions today.? As the contest is coming up I will not be making any other changes over the weekend unless absolutely necessary.

I am on a family vacation in Mexico so I will not be watching the cluster very closely.

We are still having sporadic internet problems.

If you have issues connect to AE5E or VE7CC or another CC cluster.? We all share the same data.

Good luck to all in the contest and snagging some new DX!
