Sierena mentioned kit building at the meeting Tuesday night as something the event committee thought we might want to do. JJ showed me a few examples of kits after the meeting and I wish I’d have taken the time to discuss it. I guess my mind had already moved on to whatever was next. My apologies.?
Below are a few links to various kits we might want to build as a group activity. None of them look overly complicated or expensive from what I’ve seen. You’d get some practice soldering and have something useful when you are done. One that might be of specific interest as the weather warms back up and we plan to get back into fox hunting is the RF Attenuator. They have an 11dB and 41db for $15 and $25 respectively.?

This would most likely be something we’d do on a Saturday maybe… just get together sometime other than a monthly meeting and build toys! I tried to determine how they do shipping. 1 item was 4 or 5 bucks shipping, and 15 was around $12…. So we might be better to get a group order together and save a little on shipping.
