ARES tonight, Dec 5th at 8:00PM CST

 

Join us for the weekly meeting, Chris is scheduled to be net control.
?

Our repeater is located in West Plains Missouri operating on the assigned frequency of 145.250MHz, with negative offset 0.6 MHz and a CTCSS tone of 110.9.

Our backup frequency for this net will 444.425MHz with positive offset of 5.0 MHz and a CTCSS tone of 110.9.

We were up between Osage Beach and Gravois Mill this weekend and I
checked in on the Laurie, MO Saturday net.

The CQ World-Wide DX contest is underway, and the bands seem to be hopping!! There was so much SSB traffic on 10 meters that my 100 watts wasn’t breaking through much so I switched to FT8 which is open into Europe on 10. Good luck and hope you get a chance to radio a little today!!

Found a list of some official POTA events that occur throughout the year that might be of interest. Been on the air today both at the Farmer’s Market and a POTA activation which just happened to be during their autumn event. Lots of traffic today!
