W0C SOTA Spring Dinner - April 6th

Good morning all,

We've been tossing around the idea of a spring dinner again.? It seems everyone has fun with those.? Several people have expressed interest and discussion was started about when/where/what format.? ?

Bob and Joyce started this dinner several years ago and all the years we've had it seemed to be a smashing success.? Bob has agreed to co-lead this year and with a few of us sharing the duties, it allows for any last minute things to come up personally without having to hand off the reins.

Mark your calendars for April 6th.? I am working with the restaurant we've been to a few times in the past, Rock Bottom Brewery off County Line road in South Denver and will pass along details when we have them.??

We realize that having a dinner on the Front Range makes it more difficult for folks that don't live nearby (although.... we often get our Kansas and Oklahoma contingent to make the trip which is fantastic!!).? ?We'll make sure to organize a Fall Zoom session this year (in addition to the camp out) so that we can include all the SOTA enthusiasts in our association from wherever they live.

Thank you K0NR, K0JJW, KF0RIG, and KD8EQA for the help, the latitude to keep this going, and the excitement to keep our association busy with events. Stay tuned for more details, but save the date!

Well, that's going to be a bad date for us this year.? We'll be attending the Ozarkcon QRP convention in Branson Missouri and can't make it to Colorado then. Have a good time.? We've always enjoyed our trip out there to see the SOTA people.
