I will be opening the VoIP Hurricane Net for tomorrow at 4AM EDT (0800 UTC). It is likely I will be monitoring for some time before then as well, before officially taking up net control.
Let's hope there's not too much damage from Charley.
I've been seeing reports on Echolink of Cuban stations exchanging reports in Spanish with other parties on 7.110 MHz

commercial broadcast tower rated at 120MPH with backup power and a fiber optic
internet feed.

keep people from getting in that have things to report to you. Im not in FL
anymore. SO maybe I should not connect. Is the reflector up? maybe that would be
better. I just have family there is Tampa. Not hams but would like to know whats
going on.
