Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida,
maintained communications with and received many
???Surface Reports??? from Amateur Radio Operators
in the affected areas of Hurricane Charley's track
through Cuba and the west coast of Florida.
WX4NHC, the Hurricane Watch Net on 14.325 MHz and
Echolink/IRLP VoIP
are currently still active as Hurricane Charley, now a
CAT-1,
is making it's way for a possible landfall along the
Carolina coast this afternoon.
