Go to tucson.com/retrotucson in the Arizona Daily Star today (September 17, 2015). They have a series of photos on retro nightclubs and you might find what you want there. Hope this is helpful.

As far as I can tell from old postcards, Congress, near the Plaza, was paved around 1911-1912. Unless your friend is well on into their hundreds, I don't think they are correct. Memory is a funny
