In the “who da thunk?” department, here is an interesting story about Chuck Wills Widow. I wonder if other nightjars do this?

Several new species and updated records to present. Keith, I just downloaded these.
There is a page numbering issue, Pt 1 and 2 overlap and the index pg nos (at least for pt 2) don't match the pages.
There is also a blank numbered page at the ed of Pt 1.

Re: Long-billed Curlews Returning to BC
I’ve shared this request and attachments with the 857 members of the ‘Lower Mainland Raptors’ FB page. Many spend time in areas such as Boundary Bay, Iona, etc.?
As an aside, anyone interested in curlews would enjoy the recent book, “Curlew Moon” (Mary Colwell).?

Hi all,?
While we at Birds Canada are disappointed not to be able to get out into the field this season, our work to monitor and conserve birds continues. One example is our remote sensing projects which include Long-billed Curlew tracking in British Columbia (). After all spending the winter in California, they are returning to BC and one male (named Ivan) is
now on Whidbey Island, just north of Seattle! It is hard to know where it will go from there, but birders on Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and the lower mainland should keep their eyes out (where public access is still allowed)! Ivan will have
a satellite transmitter on his back, and leg flag KY on his left leg. If you are interested in seeing where five of the other curlews are, you can view??(Ivan
is not on this map).

Dear fellow birdwatchers, Corona has changed our lives and we want to study its influence on birdwatching activities in different countries. Please help us and answer a few simple questions. The questionnaire is in seven different languages and takes 2 (two) minutes. The study is run by Piotr Tryjanowski (University of Poznan) and Christoph Randler (University of Tuebingen).
Stay healthy, Christoph & Piotr
?
More information:
It is a scientific study, and you can check my profiles on the website of the University of Tübingen/MNF, researchgate, eBird, facebook (BioDidaktik Tübingen), etc.; I am a birder myself, working at the intersection of biology & social sciences, so thank you all for helping us getting a clearer picture how corona impacts on social/psychological aspects of a leisure activity. Please take care and stay healthy, Christoph

Hi Everyone just letting you know I found one of the above out at Blaney Bog just before the bridge at the north end of 224th. I’ve submitted my report to eBird but you won’t get that until tomorrow. Cheers
