In California, we live near the largest body of water in the world - the Pacific Ocean - and are suffering from a “drought.” ?

Persecuted Ukrainian Zionist and scientist Alexander Zarchin, who immigrated to British Palestine in 1947 (the Jews were called Palestinians at the time), invented seawater desalination in 1964, for which he received a patent.? Shortly thereafter, stories of Jews “making the desert bloom” in Israel became legendary. ?

The largest desalination plant in the Western Hemisphere is in San Diego, producing 50 million gallons of desalinated water daily.? The under $1 billion project began operation in 2015 and currently produces 50 million gallons of desalinated seawater daily. ?(In contrast, the payback for union support for state Democrats - the high-speed train between Los Angeles and San Francisco is estimated at a completion cost of $105 billion after voters initially approved a $9 billion project in 2008).

Now, Israel will be the FIRST country in the world to pipe desalinated water into a natural lake!

If Eretz Yisrael can do it, America can certainly follow suit!
