Rusty Pickup¡¯s Two December Dances
Saturday, December 14, 7-9:30 at the Old Colony School in historic Bishop Hill.This is our annual Lucia Nights extravaganza, the culmination of a two-day schedule of festive events in this quaint village, all decked out for the holidays. The band for the evening will be our old friends, the Sangamo Stemwinders, and caller Gail Hintze will teach the dances. During the intermission, the PCA Madrigal Singers will fill the hall with their delightful voices, and a special guest promises to make an appearance.
Monday, December 30, 7-9:30 pm?at beautiful Shore Acres Clubhouse in Chillicothe. This is our annual Aussie New Year¡¯s Eve Extravaganza
The theme of the evening will be all things Australian, and dancers are invited to wear something festive or perhaps a costume with an Aussie flare.
The ORIGINAL?Rusty Pickup String Band?will provide their distinctive pickin¡¯ and grinnin¡¯. Gail Hintze?and Jim Hicks?will do the calling, along with whatever guest callers who might show up.
Suggested minimum donation for Rusty Pickup dances is $8. ($20 for families) Beginners, families and singles are always welcomed at Rusty Pickup dances.
You are invited to bring a treat to share at intermission and please bring your water bottle.
