first contra dance in 2 years on Friday #Dance

We will be holding our first dance for over 2 years this coming Friday, April 15. It will be held at the Channing-Murray Foundation, 1209 W. Oregon Ave. in Urbana. There will be a short intro/refresher on contra dance at 7:30 p.m. and then the dance will start at 8:00. Music will be provided by Claire Johnson and Matt Turino and the callers will be Jonathan Sivier and Kristi Emilsson.

For everyone's safety masks are required for the entire event and vaccination and one booster (Vax card or photo) will be checked at the door. We will have some water and cups, but you might want to bring your own water bottle.

I look forward to seeing everyone after such a long time.

Jonathan

Are you saying that the initial two doses of vaccine, or initial single dose of J&J, is not enough, people must also have a booster to attend?

Jenny, et al,

Yes. An exception would be for people who became fully vaccinated too recently to be eligible for a booster.

Please see "COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters":
? ?
In particular "People are best protected when they stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, which includes getting one booster when eligible."

Hoping you have been, and remain, healthy!
Dan
