Our program?has been finalized-- THANKS for your patience!! Please join us for a wonderful evening of Eastern European music and dance from 7-9p on Sunday, November 23rd in Room 314 Illini Union!! Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE event -- please pass the word to your friends, family, neighbors,?and co-workers!!

The?Highlanders Band-- Beata and Krzysztof Latawiec and?young adult son and daughter-- perform exciting music with a variety of?rhythms and tempos, much of it sounding like gypsy or klezmer music. Here's a link to the group playing?an expecially beautiful waltz

Here's our finalized program:
The Band will play and sing?wonderful music for listening and/or dancing throughout the evening. Sherry DeWan and Mitch and Frances Harris will lead simple folk and yiddish dances for those who wish to?participate.?And-- as a special treat early in?the evening--Beata and Krzysztof?will?perform a couple of dances (in costume)?from?their native Poland!!
