I agree, thanks for posting it. It certainly shows that package has
a long way to go. (My opinion, of course.)

I'm amazed at how many new programmers and new traders overlook the need
for economy of screen space. Most traders never have enough space for
everything they want to display.

If you're using charts then the trade software really needs only a
tiny bit of real estate to do it's job. Minimalism is important here.

Much can be learned from surveying the various tools available.

I uploaded a couple of screen shots of the order entry software I'm
using/developing. You can see it in the Photos section under the
Profit Pro Order Entry Tool Screen Shots folder. For even more screen
economy, the menu and caption toggle hidden/visible with a keystroke
(CTRL-Z). All the buttons are accessible via the keyboard.

I'm neither selling nor giving away this program or its source code.
I'm just sharing the screen shots for now.

Yahoo shrinks the size of the photos when you click on them even
though I selected "Large Size" when I originally uploaded them. It
might be an IE formatting issue FAIK. The only way I've found to see
the full photo size is to use the slide show once you are inside the
right folder under Photos.

Upload to the Files section, yahoo doesn't mess with them.

Cool. The smaller the better. And keyboard input is clearly the
best for this purpose -- faster and less error prone than the mouse.

Thanks

Richard
