What Was This For?

 

Finding some weird stuff on the new camper. This is a square indent covered by a plastic plate, on the wall above the refrigerator, where the rear bath sliding door it. What the heck was it for? Thanks! Sue Itasca RB 1992
 

Found an image from a factory brochure that has a clock just that size on the wall there.
