Nate, I do not have an owners manual (worse luck), but I measured
the outside of my tanks and came up with the following: fresh water tank at 20 gal, grey water at 12 gal, and black at 19 gal. Sounds pretty close to what you have. I was also advised to wait until the Black water holding tank was almost full before draining it. I got my Sunrader out of storage this week and gave it a good cleaning. We are leaving Tuesday for a few days at the Colorado River. The weather forcast does not look too good, possible rain, but you never know for sure. Anyway I am anxious to hit the road, even if it does rain. Jack R From: theeagle@..._________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at |

Nolan , Thanks for the new site for misc stuff.

Subject: [toyota-campers] holding tanks Here is a site you might want to check out for holding tanks and many other RV parts also, they carry a large selection of stuff and some of the harder to find parts too. Seems everyone has there own prefered method of holding tank use, but on the black tank I let it get near full then empty it out all at once to help flush out the tank, by hooking up to campground sewer and opening the black tank valve the liquid flows out and the solids pile up making it harder to flush out, by letting it fill up the liquids help break down the solids and the extra liquid will flush things out better. Good luck in your tank repair venture. To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: toyota-campers-unsubscribe@... Your use of Yahoo! Groups is subject to |

I believe I only have a Black water tank-- I have an eletronic gauge that
always shows the grey and black the same hence the deduction [ I have no manuals ] that I only have one holding tank . It is good size -- all across the back. I am thinking of putting a bypas from the kitchen sink which gets more use so that I can empty outside to a seperate portable tank. as for water I believe it is around 8 gal + the hot water heater.
