Driving with air bags deflated

Is it OK to drive a toyhouse (1991 Warrior) limited distances (like 10 miles on good roads) with rear air bags deflated?

Will that tend to overstress the rear leaf springs, or do any other unfriendly things?

Thanks...

Rick in NH

Your springs will be fine but it's very likely the rubber of the bag will shred. They give a minimum pressure for a reason.

Huh.? Well, that ain't good!? :-O

I had forgotten that there is a label on the driver side door with air bag info.? Yup, 20 PSI minimum... clear as day.

Thanks for the heads up...

A regular bicycle tire pump with a built in pressure gage is always with my tools. About 4 pumps from 20 to 40 psi.?
