Cab seat comfort
I had that same problem after three hours my hip would start hurting so I swapped my seats out with some from a 2001 Honda Civic I think and then I could drive all day with no problem. Also the Honda Civic driver's seat has an armrest for my right arm which I always use. They weren't an exact fit and I did have to re-drill holes on the bottom of the rails.

“Ergo 21” high quality memory foam + water pad inserts. I have?hip arthritis?& bad?structural lumbar?issues & can drive 5-6 hours in ‘78 Toy Chinook “coiled”?seats.?It took a while for?trial of their various densities but?but found the right?
combo with the full??lumbar pad + “sports” cushion (they now have 2 sizes when I last?looked).?Personalized?service from Steve & accept returns if products aren’t a good fit.? |
Thank You Edward

That is helpful... (like the arm rest.)

I changed out my original Toyota seats for a pair from an 85 Chevy Astro I had that were in great shape, and I'm happy enough with them. I also had to modify the attachment. I think I used the original brackets and made some adapter plated that I screwed onto the Chevy seats after removing the chevy hardware. I used 1/8 x 2" flat bar if I remember correctly. If you have a hand drill and something to cut the flat bar with, you're in business.? |
