MTC'ers How about a fun, short, boondock,
weekend trip to Alpena.

Great Forest Service campground right on
the lake. 8.00 a night. (no hookups or
showers) quite, private, little used spot.
30 campsites +-. Dogs Ok. Beach for the
kids.

Try around last of May, 1st of June ?

Neighbor and I will each bring a rig.

8th,thru 11th.I dont know how that fits with you and others but let
use know.Sounds like fun to us!.Is that a state forest campground?

Jack, sure wish we could make the trip to Alpena, but that is about
the only free weekend we have in the last of May and early June. I
used to go bow hunting in Alpena a few years back and my sister and
bro-in-law still live there near Males Corners. Hope we can all link
up sometime this summer. Happy camping Stan/sw Mi.
