I just did a firmware update same way I have done it many times in the past. Powered the SA Ultra off and back on and screen flashed several times and now the touch screen is not working, cannot get a menu and no scan trace on the screen, Just the grid and all the information/items showing on the left side of the display. Any suggestions would be appreciated, did a search for this issue but did not see a solution. Already removed the back and disconnected the battery and did a factory reset with the jog wheel and power on button.

Can you test if you can capture the screen?

The front panel presses on the screen. Remove the lid unscrewing the 4 screws. If everything works regularly with the panel removed, it is advisable to put the washers in places where the screws are. If it does not work, you need to check the screen of the screen, jam, and insert it again.

Tried suggestion but no change still no touch screen function and no menu displayed. I recall seeing the word touch displayed in the top righthand corner of the display when it flashed several times after restarting the unit when I did the update.

go back to an older version and see if that works.

already tried that several times and several older versions with no luck.??

Try reseating the LCD cable, this has helped several people

That did it thank everyone for the suggestions especially Erick. Happy to be back in operation.?

I had a similar failure, also coincident with an upgrade, which left me with a white screen. Re-seating the cable restored the correct display.

Thanks. I've just fixed mine which stopped working while in use. Unlatched and relatched the connector, now it works. :/
