tinySA Ultra CARD READER mode

Erik,
? ? DiSlord has added a?USB MSC mode (Mass storage class) to the LiteVNA64 (see the CARD READER menu below.

This allows access to SD card as an external drive. Removing the SD card is no longer required for transferring files to and from the PC.? In the future DiSlord speculated it might be possible to update the firmware using this facility, much like the NanoVNA-F.

Since the tinySA Ultra shares the same ChibiOS code as the LiteVNA, will the CARD READER mode eventually make it to the tinySA Ultra?

Herb

No, LiteVNA not use OS

Exist problems in integration this feature

PS i made tests, my stand alone code work, but next need integrate it to ChibiOS USB driver, and this not trivial task

? ? ?DiSlord, thanks for clarifying.? I should have realized there was a reason you had not already submitted a pull request for the CARD READER mode for the tinySA Ultra.? I forgot you?rewrote the libopencm3 library to get the CARD READER feature working on the LiteVNA, so I can see how integrating the feature on the tinySA Ultra could open up a can of worms.

The feature does work great on my LiteVNA64 so thank you for your efforts in that regards.

Stay safe,

Herb
