Tiny SA Fails Selftest after FW upgrade
#tinysa
Did you do this?
The FW maintains a checksum over the config data to detect if the structure of this data has changed with a new FW version. It is however good practice to clear the config data to be absolutely sure no old data remains possibly causing problems. This can be done with the CONFIG/MORE/CLEAR CONFIG command, enter 1234 as the requested confirmation. After clearing the config the tinySA will automatically reset -- For more info on the tinySA go to https://tinysa.org/wiki/ |
Hi. Not the first time, I have done that now, but still same fault. /Hans Fra: "Erik Kaashoek" <erik@...> Til: [email protected] Sendt: tirsdag, 27. december 2022 07:15:48 Emne: Re: [tinysa] Tiny SA Fails Selftest after FW upgrade #tinysa Did you do this? And a picture of the failing screen with the "ABOVE FAIL" message? -- For more info on the tinySA go to https://tinysa.org/wiki/

Hi. I had already done that, not change. Can it be hardware failure, or do you think it is software failure? /Hans Fra: "Erik Kaashoek" <erik@...> Til: "tinysa" <[email protected]> Sendt: tirsdag, 27. december 2022 13:42:29 Emne: Re: [tinysa] Tiny SA Fails Selftest after FW upgrade #tinysa Hans, Something is VERY wrong with the configuration of your tinySA Can you try again to do a CONFIG/MORE/CLEAR CONFIG 1234 -- For more info on the tinySA go to https://tinysa.org/wiki/

Hi. ? Thank you very much, that seems to have solved my problems. All test has passed now, Level Cal, and self-test, and the scale is "normal" again. I am very happy that you had the time to help me, thanks again. So,I don?t have to buy a new Tiny SA now, the bigger screen must wait. Best regards Hans
