My TinySA arrived today. I unpacked it in front of the DHL driver while he waited as I told him, it it was damaged I wanted to show him. It came in a TyVAC envelope inside a TYVAC envelope. Then 1 wrap of small bubble, and a brown cardboard box. Inside it was wrapped again in small bubble wrap, and the presentation box was perfect. I signed and went inside. I had read that you need to check it before signing. And I did.
I immediately put it on a charger 5V @ 0.240A measured.. In 2 hours it was fully charged. I took it over to a friend to show him, and found the only negative so far..
THE SCREEN IS TOTALLY WASHED OUT IN KANSAS SUNLIGHT.
Yet in my truck it was readable on the dash..? So if planning to use it in the field better devise a "viewing box."
Now time to read everything about it..as my intention is to first do some cable leakage testing in the area.

Mine just arrived, looks great so far.? I can see where it will take some time to get familiar with all the features and settings.

Very jealous with everyone getting their TinySA. Ordered mine on 7/23. Five days later Maggie asked me for a different address, DHL doesn't deliver to PO Boxes. Ok I understand. Another five days go by and she says she now needs a phone number. I gave it to her. It's now been 13 days and counting and still no email notification that it's even been shipped! I ordered mine through Alibaba. I'm curious if everyone that's getting theirs, ordered through AliExpress instead and if that's the reason that I'm getting terrible service?

My TinySA arrived today! yay
As soon as I got the notification about the release from Erik, I put in my order. Maggie reminded me that it's arrival was imminent, so I filled in a DHL form
to no-sign and put in my 'covid-special' box...
I started 'playing with it asap and found it easy to follow the menu system - even though I know very little about these creatures.
I put my NanoVNA-H with a 20db attenuator on to see the waveforms - amazing how the two worked together.
Thank You Erik, Hugen and Maggie for this great device!

Hello Ray, the red LED is on when charging, and the red LED is off when it is full. Is the battery not working now?

Is the red light on, off or blinking when connected to a charger?

red led is on. Battery indicates 3.2v and 1/4 scale after 12 hours of charging.?

The red led is still on after 12 hours of charging. Indicator says 3.3v and is 1/4 full

WHen you switch on the tinySA, does it work?
If you unplug the USB does it switch of immediately or does it work for some time?

Sorry, I will check the additional battery check items and Maggie will send you a new tinySA as soon as possible. Please help check whether vbat displays 4.2V after removing the battery. If it displays 4.2V, it means the battery is faulty, if not, it means the charging IC is faulty.

First test: after the initial setup steps, output of my Elecraft XG3 at -73 db into tinySA, 28.2 MHz peak, reading -73 db almost spot on

Left it on until the battery indicator went red, less the 3v ?I then put it on charge. Will only charge to 3.4v and battery indicator 1/4 full. Has been on charge over 2 hours.?
