Test 11: Display Fail

 

Just received new Ultra. Test 11: Display Fails.

All other tests pass.

It all look OK.

Any clues
 

Geoff,
Check the cable between Cal Out and RF In connectors. Make sure it is secure. Test continuity. Try a different cable. Other than that, maybe someone else has a suggestion.

Geoff,
Can you post a picture of the screen showing the fail message?
This may be a single pixel error in the display that may impact waterfall display
Can you test the waterfall display?

Oddly, all tests pass today.

I can tell you that I never saw the display test writing to the screen when the test failed.

I'll let you know if anything changes.

The display test writes the weird pattern to the screen and then reads it back to check the electronics of each pixel.
This functionality is only required for the waterfall function
