#specifications #ultra No tracking generator? #specifications #ultra

I noticed that generator and SA Ultra use same connector. There is no tracking generator then.

Indeed, see spec in wiki

Yes. Somehow I managed to forget that.
Maybe in the future,? hint hint?

The tracking generator will give you only a scalar network analyzer - no complex measurements and no Smith Charts, no complex reflection coefficient and......

With the NANOVNA, you get it all except for the SA function.

Sure. But if you have a SA and a TG, You don't need a NanoVna to tune a filter

Usually the input and output impedance is important for s filter. That can impact the filter performance. ?I am not aware of a way to get that information without the VNS capabilities.?

But I work off the Smith Chart.? If it doesn't give me a Simth Chart, I'm not interested......???.

Not quite true.? Your statement is correct.? Doing filters. active gain blocks or attenuators, the scalar network analyzer is all one needs.
