After doing a search here for rename or renaming I did not find the answer to this question.?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to save frequency presets to the SD card and then pop it out and rename them to something that makes more sense? ?I see that the typical file name is something like SA_231207_222201.prs. It would be nice to name the file something like BROADCAST_BAND.prs

i guess the second question is that if the SD card gets messed up and it be reformatted or does it have to be re-imaged? ?I have not looked at this card in the computer yet to even see what on it.?

You can do that. Or you can turn off AUTO NAME in the Storage menu and the Ultra will prompt you with a nice keypad for entry. In fact when I first tried this the SA had issues re-loading a preset that was auto-named.
