New FW release: Bug fixes and DRAWPAD function
New FW release
Version V1.4187
Ultra only
?
Changes:
- OIP3 data now shown as dBm
- Quasi peak implemented for non zero span scans. MAX HOLD DECAY may be easier to use
- Function added CONFIG/TOUCH/DRAWPAD. This converts the tinySA into a drawing pad for (small) kids. Press jog button to clear. Restart to exit.

Drawpad... kids... we need to grow up people, nobody will take us seriously. On Mon, Nov 25, 2024, 12:30 Prawlin via <prawlin10=[email protected]> wrote:

And I'm sure you don't take your grandchild seriously do you? Jokes aside scratchpad, if you can save and overlay is very very useful for taking notes etc. If it is not too much work... On Mon, Nov 25, 2024, 15:24 Erik Kaashoek via <erik=[email protected]> wrote:

You have jog button left (open previous bitmap) down (exit viewing bitmaps) and right (open next bitmap)
and the same for the touching of the left, middle or right part of the screen
One possibility would be to use the touch only for taking notes on a saved bitmap, SD icon touch to save the updated bitmap while jog button functions remain the same.
Would it be better to exit LOAD back into the file browser instead of falling back to normal scanning screen without menu shown?
