Hi Scott

Eric need always selftest no 7 ;)
This can be created using a serial over USB command
selftest 0 7

with this test he knows clone or not a clone, if it is a clone (normally the original TinySA has no logo like SeeSii) he can not help you.

Test 7 below

also, I updated the firmware to the most current version in an attempt to correct the calibration issue.
Got the same results as before.

Where and when did you purchase? I somewhat remember someone saying to me that the #7 test will reveal a clone, as it can not successfully go thru this test.

Disregard my last message, as I forgot you said that you 'successfully' did an update on the unit.

Thanks for the quick response,
In my troubleshooting of the issues i did upgrade the firmware to the latest version without problems.

Here are the results for test 7

Your unit is genuine.
Could you first do the calibration and then the selftest using a different coax cable to see if this improves the results?

Thanks for your assistance Eric,
I have used different ?Cables and have the same results.

Do you have any means to check the level of the calibration signal coming from the HIGH connector?
A oscilloscope perhaps?

Yes I can do that. What signal level are we looking for?
It will be later today before I can do it. About 6 pm CST local.
Thanks again Erik

Between -30 and -40 dBm

Hi Erik,
Measures -27.67 dbm as measured with my nanovna.

Cal signal is correct level.
And end screen of calibration shows everything being OK.
May I suggest you contact your supplier?
