Beta test channel #betatest

Now the FW has become more stable I'd like to set up a beta test channel where I can announce early releases of new functionality without running the risk of upsetting new users.
The beta FW will be made available in the beta folder inside the regular FW folder at:?
Reply to this message if you want to be notified when new beta releases are available and are willing to try these beta releases.

That is a good idea Erik.
I just see the first beta in the folder, wouldn?t it be helpful to add a changelog for the beta release?

No changes for now, just code cleaning
New functionality expected soon

New beta release: v1.1-39

New beta feature:?
When in zero span mode and AFTER you enabled DISPLAY/CALC/QUASI PEAK you can set CONFIG/EXPERT CONFIG/MORE/DECAY or ATTACK. both in ms
This will allow you to optimize the decay/attack times for measuring transient signals at a fixed frequency
Default attack and decay times are 0ms, e.g. instantaneous.

This release is using a lot of "cleaned" code so anything can go wrong.
Do not use this release if you must have a reliable tinySA.
