Access traces from the SD card via USB cable

Hi, I am trying out my friend's tinySA. I'm hoping to replace my RF Explorer if I can get this issue resolved.
?
One thing I cannot figure out is how to get the traces off the SD card just by connecting the tinySA to my Mac via the USB C cable. Any advice on an easy way to do this?

This is a dealbreaker for me because I really don't want to fumble around with micro SD cards while I'm working on site.

The ultra currently does not support USB storage class access to the SD card

Oh darn..
?
Does anyone know if this is something that might become available in a future firmware?

Won't the TinySA App allow you to get screen captures at least (Windows PrtScn)

Christian, the QtTynySA application allows you to browse and download the SDcard files.

You can access images from tinySA ultra SD card with DiSlord mod of Nanovna-app v.1.1.215 and save to disc. This should work for MAC/Linux too.

This is great. Is this available for Mac?

As far as I know there is no executable for Mac, but as I have read that it is a Pyton programme designed to work with Linux, but it works under Windows and possibly on Mac.
?
Have a look on??
?
I'm not a programmer, but I think that using the libraries and mac repository of the languages used, it would work.

QtTinySA is written in Python and works on Linux, Windows and Mac under python.? I have no mac so cannot build executables for macOS, or test the python code there myself but I am told it works.? I test it primarily on Linux because that's where I use it, but I can also build executables on Windows 11 and do some minimal testing on 11 and sometimes on 10.? It should NOT work on Windows 7 but I have never tried it.
?
There is a wiki on the GitHub repository that describes some necessary python dependencies.
?
I am just an amateur programmer and do it to learn and for fun and because there was no Linux App before.? If @apple would like to send me a nice small mac laptop I will gladly learn how to build macOS executables on it and provide them as well as the Windows ones that I have no use for :-)

Take a look at this fork,?

This person seems to building DMG's for mac that follow the official releases, I can confirm this works on a M1 running Sonoma 14.5

Apart from some scaling issues (I'm assuming its a retina thing) it works very well, would LOVE a 2D spectual waterful under the trace !

Thanks - I meant to put that in - Bill kindly offered to do that back in March so I put a permanent link to it in my

I have tried the latest version of Nanovna released by Owenduffy (v1.1.209) , but it does not seem to have the function you have shown in the picture.
?
Where can I download the version of Nanovna v1.1.215 or higher ?
?

QtTinySA (by Ian Jefferson), has the option to view and save the SD_card files on your computer.?
The new version of the program QtTinySA_win.zip is in :
https://github.com/g4ixt/QtTinySA/releases
Don't forget to copy the QtTSAprefs.db file to C:/users/your name/AppData/Local/QtTinySA folder.

DiSlord made the later revisions to nanovna-app, available on his github site:
You probably just need to download the nanovna-app.exe file from that release directory, since the other items haven't changed from prior releases.

This version has the function I was looking for and allows me to download the screenshots without having to connect the Sd card to the pc.
?
The thing that I noticed is that sometimes the image display is slow and in some cases it does not happen ...

I do this often with my nanovna-H4, and I haven't had a problem with the images directly appearing.? I just double-click on the image file name in the SD card panel, and it pops up the little window with the screenshot, which I then save or copy.? But I do it when nanovna-app is not actively tracing - so if you have the trace updating, try stopping it while doing the file operations.

Hi and thanks for the advice.

I've tried pausing the screen update on my TinySA Ultra, but that doesn't solve the problem I reported ...
