Ability to save High and Low output mode configuration and automatically recall it on power up #feature_request

Hi,

I don't think this is possible at the moment, but I may be wrong, in which case can someone tell me how to do it ?

I have an application where I'd like to be able to set-up an output sweep configuration and store it in the TinySA, and then have the ability to automatically recall it on power up and for the output to be enabled.

The idea is that the TinySA could then be used as a stand-alone signal source or sweep generator, without having to set it up from scratch each time it is turned on.?

Regards,

Martin

I agree with this idea.
I've missed this a few times. mainly the external attenuator that I always use fixed and I always have to reconfigure.

Unfortunately there are only 160 bits (not bytes) available to store setup data to be restored at power on. I can not use flash as that will quickly wear out the flash.

The idea would be to have the possibility to save it as STARTUP (or as STORE 1, 2, 3 or 4), using the same memory location used to store the set of parameters that are currently?stored in each of these presets.?

That's also how I imagined it could be implemented, but I understand if it is not possible due to memory constraints.

Note than the EXTERNAL GAIN is a parameter saved in Startup and Store features

But I'm referring to OUTPUT LOW/HIGH function.

It is just an omission from my side that I forgot to add the preset load/store part in the output modes. If I do not forget I may add this whenever I do a next release as all the functionality exists

Hi Erik,

That would be great if it is possible.

I hope your memory remains good :-)

Thanks,

Martin
