All very well. I liked the new text font, it greatly improved the visualization of the number in Big Number mode.
do you consider putting the marker frequency display in big number mode?

Hi David,
I am aware of the FW in the Wiki.
However, I was refering to Martin's post to Eric.?

"My build of v1.3-563-g1da836e for tinySA looks also good.
Martin".?

That FW version is Not in the Wiki.?
in fact, the version in the Wiki shows version 1.3.513, however, when installed version 1.3.512 is reported on my TinySA.
Martin's versions for the TinySA is not shown in the Wiki.
Atleast, I can not find it.?

Clyde,

I'm a new user of the Ultra.? (I had the original but couldn't get my head around it and sold it)? So, I'm a newbie.

From that perspective I'll say that there is a propensity here to say, "It's in the Wiki" and go no further.? Unfortunately, with respect to the Ultra, there are some errors.? I realize it is a daunting task to keep up with this, but there should be some slack given to newer users.? IMHO, of course.

Technically, what you are looking for can be found using the Wiki, but here is the actual link:?

I build it from Erik's Sourcecode on GitHub, see the other thread about building from source.

Hi Martin,?
Thank you for your reply.
I was hoping you had release a updated FW for the TinySA like you did for the NanoVNA H without a SD card.
At 78 my memory for programming is very limited.
I will try to figure out how to do compileing from a sourse code. If not able, I will just use the TinySA as is.?
Again, thank you for your reply.

Hello Wes,
I am a fairly new user of the TinySA also. However, If you check the posts in most groups you will find some that will not read the instructions first. That is why I and several others, tell people to read the Wiki.
?With that said, If it will help, I attached a operation manual for the TinySA, that gives much more info than the Wiki due to continue changing as the TinySA's are developing.?
Hopefully it may answer some of your questions.
Stay healthy, safe and Have a Very Merry Christmas.?

Hi Clyde, as soon I'm back at my computer I'll build the latest version and provide a link. I think I'll do it the same way as for the NanoVNA. Martin

Martin, sorry for not knowing, what changes did you implement?
Feel free to send a pull request

TinySA not have SD card, and firmware not have this code.

ULTRA have slot, but have 256k flash abnd lot of free space, not need remove SD card code

One more reason to upgrade to the tinySA Ultra, room to add other features in the future that can't be added to the tinySA due to its smaller flash size.

Clyde,

Sorry for the confusion!

On this page:

there's
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Getting new firmware
New versions of the tinySA firmware can be downloaded from:
tinySA
tinySA Ultra
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

where these can be found:
tinySA_v1.3-513-g92dd4b2.bin (108 KB)
tinySA4_v1.3-563-g1da836e.bin (164 KB)

I guess the Wiki or the download needs to be updated. My TinySA is on "513", which reports as "512".

Hi Erik,

I did no changes - just build tinySA4 as bin/hex/dfu as well as tinySA bin/hex/dfu from your latest commit, currently:

with "versionless" eternal links, i.e.?

Your official tinySA version currently remains at v1.3-513 (which announces itself as -512) and I'm building from each of your commits anyway to update my tinySA and do some kind of beta testing :)

same for tinySA4, just for completeness, because this version in also available at your official link

Clyde was referring to my changes in the parallel project NanoVNA, there I'm building a version for HW without SD card, this eliminates a lot of flash space which I use for more config slots, so 8 presets can be stored instead of only 5 in the original.
