New FW release: Added frequency grid indicator

New FW release
Version V1.0-86

Changes:?
- Added a frequency per division indicator at the bottom
- Increased the minimum number of frequency grid lines to be shown?

Erik.
Where can I find the update?
http://athome.kaashoek.com/tinySA/DFU/ we have v1.0.85 available.
Thank you for your work.

Forgot to push the release button

Looks good!? Love how you are constantly working to improve this.

Hi Erik,

That's great.

Love the new graticule calibration, it's now so much easier to quickly work out the frequency spacing between signals :-)

Thanks again.

Martin

Erik.
I have the frequency set to start 0 and stop 200Mhz.
If I select "measure" incorrectly, any of the available options will not allow me to return without disturbing the setup.
Even the "off" option returns the setup as default (0 - 350Mhz).
v1.0.86
Thank you for your work.

Erik,
? Igor is correct.? If you accidently select the measure menu there is no way to back out of it without losing your settings.? There should either be a 'back' button (intuitive) or selecting the 'OFF' button should act as a 'back' button (not as intuitive) that sends you up one menu level without loosing your settings.

? I usually store my current set-up in one of the four store locations before using the measure menu so that I can re-load it after a 'measure' operation, since I know exiting the 'measure' menu defaults to start-up settings.? Maybe as Igor suggested the behavior after exiting the 'measure' menu should be to return to the previous user set-up.

Indeed!
I added too much measure menu options so the back key is no longer visible
Will be corrected in next FW

This can be implemented but you will also lose any change in setting you did after starting with the measurement so that is not perfect.?
The other alternative is to only do a limited deactivation of the measure setup. Which still may be difficult to understand.
How do other SA deal with this?

Come to think of it after completing automated measurements on a HP8568 I had to push the <instr preset> button to return to normal operations.? That is actually pretty much what you are doing now.? I also stored my settings in a register on the HP8568 prior to running an automated measurement so that I could recall them.

Probably the primary issue was lack of the 'back' button for exiting the measure menu.
