tinySA has been listed in Alibaba store
Dear community enthusiasts, we have manufactured a small amount of tinySA for sale and now sell it through the Alibaba store. If the community feedback is good, we will make more. The current logistics speed is slow, and the logistics cost for sending to some areas may be higher. If you don’t wait to test it, you can wait for us to manufacture it in large quantities and distribute it to overseas distributors. Purchase to save logistics costs.
Many thanks to Erik for creating the tinySA project and implementing it. Many thanks to the tinySA test group enthusiasts for providing great feedbacks. hugen 2020-07-23 |
开云体育Nice! I will put an order in. I am collecting Nano projects like I
collect radios. :-) I look forward to seeing where the project goes from here. Maybe a V2 or a H4? Maybe a combination of the Nano VNA with the Nano SA built in one package? Many thinks to both of you for the project, and continued support
of them, great for experimentation.

Alibaba sometimes randomly rejects credit card payments. I tried to order one of the NanoVNA test kits from there and it wouldn't take any of my cards, offering wire transfer as an alternative -- but wire transfer fees at US banks are very high and that would have cost me twice the value of the kit. I ended up getting the board that is offered on OSHPark instead and building up from that.
But I had no trouble ordering a tinySA. Somebody over on the NanoVNA group reported that Alibaba asked him for a registered company name and wouldn't let him order without one. But I have only seen the one report of that issue. |
If this first run is well received, I expect that the US companies that are reselling the NanoVNA-H (I know about R&L and Gigaparts) will make large purchases of the tinySA and resell it. They're a good alternative for US residents; delivered cost from R&L is about the same as ordering from Hugen's Alibaba store and you get it faster.

I'm sure the tinySA will take off like dynamite like the NanoVNA, so I'll wait until it's in stores :) Sterling N0SSC On Thu, Jul 23, 2020 at 3:23 PM Shirley Dulcey KE1L <mark@...> wrote: If this first run is well received, I expect that the US companies that are reselling the NanoVNA-H (I know about R&L and Gigaparts) will make large purchases of the tinySA and resell it. The bad news is that the initial production run was only 300 units to test the waters.? Most units from the initial run will probably be sold on the Asian market.? The good news is that this isn't hugen's first rodeo, so if the first production run meets expectations he should be able to gear up a second production run pretty quickly. - Herb |

Gary,
If it is anything like the NanoVNA that I use regularly, it will be that I basically turn it on using the built in screen. Every thing else is done with the USB cable and computer. It makes the screen virtually as big as your screen. I use a 15" laptop and it is awesome.? I used it at our amateur radio club and a 1/2 a dozen people gathered around my laptop as we tuned a filter viewing it on the 15" screen. ..jpw J P Watters KC9KKO Morris, IL USA |
