Re: Delay due to damage
Hi All, Unfortunately, I have already asked for another tinySA and not a refund. I have had a thank you from Dexuan510 and they understand my request but no indication of when (if) I shall get an instrument. The tracking on the original has now stalled before the delivery?period. How long is it before one can get a?refund?from Amazon? Does Amazon deal with rogue traders? Also where else in the UK/EU can one buy a tinySA? Phil G3SES ? I'm reading the documentation while waiting for my tinySA to arrive. Thanks |
Re: Delay due to damage
It's possible that he meant that his entire shipment of tinySA was damaged. But I'm with the crowd here; I'd take the money (the refund from Amazon) and run to another supplier. On Fri, Sep 18, 2020 at 12:26 PM Larry Rothman <nlroth@...> wrote:

Re: Delay due to damage
Guys - personally, I would go for the refund as I've seen stuff like this where the seller waits and waits until you can't claim any longer. ...Larry

Re: Serial over USB command list started
Erik: RealTerm on Windows 10 does not recognize the tinySA COMM port for some reason. ?I have seen this issue with other programs as well. TeraTerm works fine. I suspect the sh does autobaud ?detect? ?I used 9600 bps and it worked. You might consider adding something to the Wiki about the setup for the serial console ( 8 bits, NP, 9600 bps)? BTW: checked the calibration my tinySA at 30 MHz versus the calibration port on my HP SA. ? The difference was .3 dBm !! |
Re: Delay due to damage
The tracking on my Amazon order still shows the original arrival dates so I am watching with interest to see if new dates will be given. I look forward to doing some comparisons with my antique Tektronix 7L12 SA / TR 502 and Marconi TF2720 SA / TG when (if?) the tinySA arrives. Thank you Erik for a fascinating instrument. Phil G3SES??
