Re: File /TinySA Ultra Menu-Tree Chart - DRAFT.pdf uploaded #file-notice

You're right, I should reduce that keypad size!? It wasn't a problem till I ran into that page where I went left to fit things in :-)

Re: File /TinySA Ultra Menu-Tree Chart - DRAFT.pdf uploaded #file-notice

Thanks Dave, I appreciate your effort.

May be simpler to keep the flow, top-down and left to the right.? not down, to the right, then to the left and down.

The numberic keypad could be reduced in size, if you need more room per page.

I
how can i check the checksum of the files (- it seems not crc32 (SFV) all files get different results)
- my
crc32 generated checksum for github file is:75375FD9
- for the other file from kaashoek.com is:9ED66D28
±õ²õ³Ù±¹¨¢²Ô,

The CRC is different because the build time is different and also the compiler versions differ, Erik uses an older version.
Both infos are stored as strings in the binary file.

$ strings tinySA4_v1.4-36-g434126d.bin
? ? ....
? ? Version: tinySA4_v1.4-36-g434126d
? ? Build Time: Jan? 7 2023 - 16:13:58
? ? Kernel: 4.0.0
? ? Compiler: GCC 8.3.1 20190703 (release) [gcc-8-branch revision 273027]
? ? ...

The g434126d is not a checksum, but the git hash (with a 'g' in front meaning git) of the commit from which the binary is built, this is identical for Erik and for me.

Also it seems to me that you used the wrong download link for my file, please follow the instruction that I gave earlier today?
/g/tinysa/message/9530

The file links on the GitHub page (as well as the web interfaces to other VCSs) do not point directly to the file, instead they open an interface to the file where you can do a lot of actions with this file (edit/comment (if you have the rights), see the history, find out who made a change to a specific line, display it as raw or download the file).

So the simple rule to download files from GitHub:
  1. On the front page click on the filename
  2. On the next page click on Download
If you want the direct link for your?tinySA4_v1.4-36-g434126d.bin:

It's build from exactly the same source code as Erik's version (see identical version, the gxxxxxxx denotes the git hash value).

Thanks, Martin. Downloaded and installed.

NO
There is an SDR inside the tinySA but the output of the I/Q mixer can not be extracted, only the power level is available?

tinySA Ultra as SDR?

Dear all,
Would it be (in principle) possible to use the tiny SA Ultra as a kind of SDR receiver?

Maybe Erik has become so popular that bandwidth restrictions have been imposed! Good news and bad! Hope it can soon be resolved.

I too had the same problem, after multiple tries I got the Ultra download to finish, but gave up on the older TinySA as its file would never finish. The download starts but hangs. Only time I¡¯ve ever had an issue with Erik¡¯s downloads.
