it and now offer an "improved" version for $$$$$.

Don't waste your time with Adobe Acrobat. Use PDF XChange Reader from Tracker Software.
Faster and better.
All the best,

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Andy I di not understand the problem you have. By the free Adobe Reader it prints on A4 sheet and not filling the width as the page selected by David is a US letter format pretty close to A4 Kind regards Kurt ? Luca,
After booting with the jog weel pressed to the side do a CONFIG/CLEAR CONFIG and a PRESET/STORE/STORE AS STARTUP This should solve the crash on boot problem. -- For more info on the tinySA go to https://tinysa.org/wiki/ |

Hi Erik
Sorry fo the late answering, I'm currently touring and have little to no free time Since last time I wrote you my tinySA has been working nicely and only recently has started again prompting me the stack dump, every time I've managed to start it again by holding the jog wheel right during boot; I still haven't managed to snap a clear screenshot of the stack dump, sorry (touring life...) Currently is easier for me to try and resolder or replace the diode, since i have both soldering stuff and diodes with me on tour and I need the tinySA daily for work I'll keep you posted Thanks for the wonderful assistance! -- //LMA// RF Coordinator for live shows |

8W will destroy the TinySA, the absolute max i/p is 100mW, but this level is way too high for accurate measurements .

To get to a sensible level you will need at least 60dB of attenuation!! 73 Jeff G8HUL -----Original Message-----

The max input power is specified on the case of the tinySA
For a 8W transmitter you should indeed use at least 1 external attenuator. To be safe, calculate the external attenuators such that the input level of the tinySA is below -20dBm This because you may want? to measure harmonics and for this you need the headroom of the internal attenuator to check your measurement -- For more info on the tinySA go to https://tinysa.org/wiki/ |
Measuring SSB 8W Tranceiver Power
#ultra
Hi,
I am just starting out with the TinySA Ultra and still working my way through the documentation and videos which are great! Thank you. I was looking at video #14?Testing a Transceiver and noticed that with the TinySA connected directly to the transceiver, on transmit, input attenuation on the TinySA was at 30dB and power was measured at 1.9W, which looked like max scale. My question is, can I connect the TinySA Ultra directly to an 8W SSB transceiver (40m band) the same way and measure the power (W) or will I need external attenuation between the transceiver RF out and TinySA Ultra as I suspect? I was thinking of using a 50 ohm 20dB 10W attenuator followed in series with more 'low power' 20dB and 10dB attenuators if needed. Would this work and if so what sort of reading (W) would I expect to get on the Ultra at 8W TX? My thought was to use the Ultra to align the BPF (Band Pass Filter) on the 40m band (7MHz) and also check the transmission power. 73 Geoff vk2bgr ...still learning...it never stops |
