Re: Signal Generator Frequency Calibration #ultra
It will correct both input full range and output below 800Mhz and "highest accuracy mode" above 800Mhz in the same way. Cleanest signal mode above 800MHz is less frequency resolution. I need to update

Signal Generator Frequency Calibration #ultra
I would like to calibrate the output frequency for my new TinySA Ultra when in Signal Generator Mode. I am using an amateur radio Flex-6700 for a receiver which is disciplined to a GPSDO. The

Re: New ULTRA FW release: improved touch defaults and marker->Ref level
All very well. I liked the new text font, it greatly improved the visualization of the number in Big Number mode. do you consider putting the marker frequency display in big number mode?

Re: tg
A tracking Generator is possible to be build but not for low span and resolution. Whenever I go below 1Mhz span I see chopping of the trace even if the external source and the IF are within a few khz.

Re: New ULTRA FW release: Improved font and touch cal
Version 559 on my TinySA is OK. I had to do a new TOUCH calibration and also a LEVEL calibration. Everything seems to be working as it should. I have a small request, would it be possible when

Re: New ULTRA FW release: Improved font and touch cal
The improved touch calibration works as expected, however as others have pointed out, updating to the new FW loses the current screen calibration so it is necessary to use the jog switch to navigate

Re: New ULTRA FW release: Improved font and touch cal
Hi The problem for when the menu system not access able after a touch calibration, is most probably when the upper left corner has been clicked twice (shaking fingers, or bouncing pointing device)

Re: New ULTRA FW release: Improved font and touch cal

Re: New ULTRA FW release: Improved font and touch cal
I had the same issue on my tinySA with the latest FW v1.3-560-g88121a2 - my fix: Enter the menu via jog wheel, go to CONFIG / TOUCH / TOUCH CAL and do a new touch calibration with the two snowflakes.

Re: New ULTRA FW release: Improved font and touch cal
I got to access to the menu via the tinySA-app and capture window. Run succesful selftest and level cal. But still get the same as in the above picture.

Re: #ultra Touch calibration #ultra
You need a very sharp pen to reach the corner. It's not healthy for the touchscreen to use a sharp pen. Thanks very much! -- Klaus, DL5KV

Jeff, That's right, impedance matching is necessary for sources that can only deliver a small amount of electrical power and whose power is to be passed on as comprehensively as possible. Such weak

Re: Which branch to use to compile the same firmware as Erik is releasing?
Erik, The build instructions will build a version "v0.1-602-gb87733e" based on the deprecated "master" branch. The most important info to be on track with your development is to type *git checkout

Re: #tinysa Power Reading #tinysa
That is not the case. Most Pas are not 50ohm, they are designed to give a specified power 'into* a 50 ohm load. The o/p impedance of the PA has no effect on any reflections from the load, that is
